Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1996 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora often stylized in uppercase as AURORA is a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some attention. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano that was in her basement, and becoming enthralled by the sounds it created. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music as a passion rather than a profession. The Aksnes family advised her to compose. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as her main influences. When her mother said that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, and also inspire others to see their importance within the global community and see what can be done with her songs, she decided to begin performing publicly. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they can affect the world. The family did not be aware of this until she reached the age of fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. As she says, she just enjoys writing songs. She believes that music is the only way to feel anything.
